Rod bolts come very very close to touching lower cylinder bore area. Check for clearance. This crankshaft also has the hatchet iron sleeve/spacer behind the dampner. The Casting number on the Hatchet is C9AE-6A360A (part number is C9ZZ-6359-A) Also researched this date were rods for past balance jobs Jeff M 427 502 big end & 233 pin end Charles H 428 506 big end & 235 pin end Connecting Rod general information George Additional information & specs; Big End 2.5907/2.5915 Max out of round is .0004 and bore taper .0004 also pin end housing bore for bushing should be 1.0375 (spec is 1.028/1.038) and the installed id of the bushing should be .09752/.09755 but check to piston pin for correct clearance. WE like .0004/.0008. Cap aligns with concentric dowels. Bolt threads are 7/16-20 and always chase the threads to be sure they are perfect. Stock us a 7/16 bolt with a necked down shank. You can replace with a heavier bolt with a straight shank like a NASCAR ARP bolt. You will need to rebalance the rods with the new bolts installed as they are typically 25 grams heavier and if you take that times 2 you will know the net effect on the Bob weight increase.....50 grams and you will need to rebalance crankshaft assembly.9
