Arias Piston 1340100 W/17.5 CC Dome and 4.255 Custom Bore $90 ea

Block Boring to 4.255 Worked and Bore OK now 9/29/10

#5 Cylinder Bore damage (from rust) has ruined one side from being able to just deglaz for new rings.

Choices: try to over bore .005" and/or sleeve the hole back to 4.250

Old piston weight with rings, pin and locks 870 Grams, 2010 modern pistons are 790 Grams

Skirt contamination scuffing (will not use in rebuild)

Pistons are .015" Oversize for a 4.249" bore

Sonic checked block today (8/24) non-thrust bores are only .077" thick in some areas. Any boring will not exceed 4.255 Max with Deck Plate. Block preliminary Magnaflux checked (OK)
