4984 Drivers Side Front Wheel Bearing Assembly error. Damaged Bearing and brake disc surface and bolt faces. Retaining Clip not installed correctly to hold bearing in place allowed movement and damaged several components including the Brake Disc surface and bolt heads.

  This shows the minor damage from the assembly problem with the drivers side front wheel bearing. The retaining clip was not installed correctly allowing the bearing to move out of the bore about a 1/4" and you can see the damage that happened. This car was tested at the track this last weekend and it's certainly good luck this didn't come apart out there. Bert was just trying to move the car a little to make way for another car in the garage and it didn't push very well and seemed to be locked up. We found this when we removed the wheel.
